“The Cotswolds” is an artist’s book born from the desire to condense the essence of a place into a physical object, capable of evoking its sensory experience in a concrete and tangible way.
Utilising the design's possibilities, the flagbook unfolds into sections crafted from various types of paper, each capable of evoking the tactile sensations associated with the surfaces and materials characteristic of the English countryside west of London. The content is stitched onto an accordion (concertina) structure and enclosed between two hard, cloth‑bound covers, shaping a refined and pocket‑sized sensory experience.
